PIXEL DANCERS
I recently directed and animated this video. It was so damn fun to do....lowfi simplicity and an honest desire to see these dudes milking the concrete into a healthy garden..

Hi Mark...thanks for the nice comment! So...as for how this was
created.....Technically speaking I used Maya, AFter effects and a Nikon D50. The character designs were done by another group (FAKE I.D.). I was able to direct the entire project from scripts to final render, so that was really fun and challenging. The flowers were a modified stroke from Maya paint effects. I spent
quit a bit of time tweeking the stroke/poly settings inorder to get the pixel look for those flowers. The environment came from stills along with alttle pseudo "camera shake" for good measure. The characters had to be converted to 3d
from a super tiny reference illustration that I was given. The music came from the ad agency which proved to be really easy to animate too. All in all it felt really great to be able to work on this project, I hope to post more of these in
the future....
